Artwork...

I am working on finding some artwork for my song "A Roses Tale" since we are going to release it digitally. NOT an easy task.. but I think I have found the picture I like. If it makes you oo and ah... that is the desired affect.

I was able to upload it! Woohooo!!

Enjoy!

SoundClick.com

I have been keeping track of "A Rose's Tale" at Soundclick.com. I have been uploading music there for quite some time now. I decided to see what this song would do when I uploaded it onto the site. I've watched it climb up the charts and this morning it is number one on the New Age charts AND the World charts!!! I am shocked!

WHAT a trip. I am amazed and surprised. Thank you to those that have been such a wonderful support to my music. Wishing you a lovely day.

Luciano Pavarotti

Ahhh.. a lovely voice in our world has gone ahead to the choirs of heaven. I never liked opera until I listened to Luciano. My heart aches for his family and for the rest of us that have been left behind. He will be missed.

What a NIGHT!

WHAT a night. I just spent 4 hours playing LIVE at the Irvine Spectrum Center. WHAT a great place. There LOTS of people streaming through Myrtle's Court. I would take 10 minute breaks at the top of the hour. I was sweating to death. We rarely get humidity...however it was very humid.

I got there at about 5:30pm and we unloaded the van and set up. Many of the vendors in the courtyard were very gracious. I have to give the folks at Maki Maki kudos for turning off their music and allowing their outdoor customers to listen to the concert. In the midst of this craziness... I had to buy some new earphones as the Sony ones would keep cutting out while rehearsing earlier today. So with all the stress and excitement.. I had to go to Guitar Center to buy some new ones. THANK you Ben for the excellent service. I'll buy my gear from them from now on.

Security and Maintenance crew were exceptional. I really felt like they went out of their way to make sure everything was set up right, we had lighting, table, chairs and a table cloth. Very professional people there. Security did a great job guiding us in and setting up.

Ok.. I got settled in the first hour slipped by without any mistakes, problems.. .etc. Even my tendency to be Calamatous was not there. I took my break at 7pm and we decided to turn around the Keyboard towards the fountain. It was awesome. So many people sitting down and eating and walking by.

I really felt good Karma from everyone that came by. When I took breaks, I was able to talk to a few people.. so Craig, Sam and Ray... thanks for drifting by. Also many people stopped to talk to my husband Don. It was a good.

Overall it was the best venue I have played at to date. I will definately make it a regular place to play at.

By 9:30pm My arms were getting tired.. and I knocked over my mic stand! lol So I could tell I was getting loopy. I am glad I stopped at 10pm. I know that I could have gone 30 more minutes however .. my body started to complain.

NOW my job is to go to crash. Thanks again for your support.

Peace in Music,

Kori
